I have a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. I work with diverse populations and various concerns. I specialize with anxiety and depression- and work closely with trauma, family conflict, life stressors, domestic violence and relationship issues. My personal experiences of feeling stuck and lacking control of life has pushed me to self-exploration and deep inner work. In turn this deep inner work has led me to become passionate about supporting others. I offer counselling in both English and Punjabi to adults, couples and families.
I, too, have been a client in a counsellor’s office and know that reaching out for support can feel unfamiliar or intimidating. As a client, and also a counsellor - I believe the most important aspect of counselling is the therapeutic relationship. I work from an Adlerian perspective which means I will collaboratively work beside you, in a strength based and goal-oriented approach. I feel honored to be a part of your journey and will do so in a nonjudgmental environment where we will explore what is blocking you from truly feeling whole."
